The current temperature is 28 degrees and I am mentally preapring myself for 70 degree weather. Yes. This is kind of shocking but Texas seems so volatile when it comes to temperature.
As I sit here I am planning on some of the things I will get to do while in Houston. Despite not being able to really bake for people this year I am hoping to cook and bake some while at my mom's and in-laws home. It is my love language so I have been thinking of cookie and cupcake recipes to make. Here are a few:
Maple Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies
Almond Snowball Cookies
Triple Chocolate Brownie Cookies
Cherry-Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
Raspberry Cupcakes w/ Raspberry Icing
Double Chocolate Cherry Walnut Cookies (GF)

I live in Houston and recently found your blog. I really enjoy reading it! I am about 80% vegan and 20% vegetarian. Keep up your wonderful posts, I can't wait to try some of your recipes.
Hmm.. what would I bake first. probably some linzer cookies. That has been on my list a while!
I hope you can get a little baking in during the holidays. I am going to have to try those raspberry cupcakes!

what a fun giveaway! I have christmas cookies left to bake, so I would probably use it for them!
I would LOVE to have this! I use yards and yards of parchment paper and always worry about how wasteful (and expensive) it is. The first thing I would make with it is Bryanna Clark Grogan's Chai-Spiced Oat Crepes with Grilled Mangos or Nectarines and Citrus-Almond “Ricotta” Filling. I've been putting off making these until I had a reason to celebrate. Winning one of these sheets would be all the motivation I need! :)
I like you, (no, I LOVE you!) on Facebook!
I would bake some double fudge cookies. Awesome giveaway!

This is quite a cool product! You can cut cake circles for making little cakes or pies and reuse them over and over. I like that! I always feel so wasteful using paper cake pan liners.
I would be making sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.

Michigan --> Texas will be such a nice change! Enjoy that great weather! I'm thinking of driving down to Dallas this weekend to escape the cold that'd finally hitting OKC.
